The Collectif pour un Service Civique Européen (Collective for European Civic Service) is an association movement promoting the interconnection of European youth.
Over the past six months, member states and European institutions have been working on this issue, initiating civic service pilot projects in new countries such as Greece, Romania and Spain.
They share a desire for progress and more global reflection on European Civic Service, with the emergence of genuine European coordination in the field of volunteering, an increase in synergies, and the dissemination of national civic service systems in all Member States, as unanimously voted by the Council of the European Union in its recommendations of April 5.
