Paris – Today, May 9, Europe Day, there is a call for applications for two civic service volunteer positions at the Maison de l'Italie, the Italian contribution to the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris.
A visionary project based on welcoming young university students of all nationalities to a campus unique in the world, the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris will celebrate the centenary of its birth in 2025. Since 1958, the Maison de l'Italie has welcomed generations of young Italians in residence, and hosted thousands of cultural events.
On the eve of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Collectif pour un Service Civique Européen organized an International Youth Forum for Peace, in connection with the Paris 2024 Games under the aegis of UNESCO, the City of Paris and funded by the European Union, which brought together three hundred young people from around the world to promote peace and the values associated with the Olympic Games.
