1 August 2024In continuity with the previous edition in Paris in 2024, the International Youth for Peace Forum returns in 2026, on the occasion of the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics and Paralympics, in the framework of the Education Program Gen26 in Milan Cortina 2026. Aiming to be a recurring event at each Olympic Games, the Forum will once again this year allow thousands of young people from around the world to discuss, work together and find solutions to maintain lasting peace in the world, joining the wish of the many associations and organizations associated with the event.
This edition, which will take place from February 3 to 5, 2026, in Tremezzina and Lake Como, will aim to consolidate the foundations laid during the 2024 edition, while once again offering a range of opportunities for everyone to get involved in the activities and discussions on site.
By once again setting up collaborative workshops, interactive debates and collective reflection sessions, the Forum aims to encourage civic engagement and social participation of young people, while encouraging listening to the aspirations of world youth. The ideas and solutions developed will be accompanied over time to support their concrete implementation in favor of peace for the future, and allow the creation of a global network of committed young leaders. The event will also put a particular emphasis on intercultural and interfaith dialogue, in order to strengthen mutual understanding and links between young people of different cultures and beliefs.
Any participant wishing to contribute to these themes and the promotion of world peace is invited to join the Forum, bringing their motivation, reflections and personal commitment to enrich exchanges and collective projects.
It is supported by the European Commission as part of the #IMREG #YOUTH4EU project.
