10 December 2021The “CSCE Conference: Youth at the Centre of Europe’s Future” was held on 9 June 2021 from 9am to 2pm at the Banque de France – Paris.
- Round Table 1: “National civic services in Europe: an ambition for young citizens, an instrument for bringing Europe closer together”.
The event was attended by Béatrice Angrand, President of the Civic Service Agency, Katrin Auer, Director of Social Affairs at the German Embassy in Paris, Stefania Rosini, Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy Ambassador of Italy to France, and Ilana Cicurel, Member of the European Parliament.

In the presence of Mr Christophe Arend, Member of the French National Assembly and Chairman of the Franco-German Friendship Group, Mr Benjamin Sibille, Director General and Founder of the Collectif pour un Service Civique Européen and Mr Hervé Roqueplan, Director of Unis-Cité Grand Est and of the first experiment.

In the presence of Anne Tallineau, Secretary General of the Franco-German Office for Youth and Marie Trellu Kane, co-founder and Executive President of Unis-Cité.

In the presence of Mr Thomas Friang, Founder and Managing Director of the Open Diplomacy Institute, winners of the Institut de l’Engagement, young representatives of the Peers France network, young ambassadors of the OFAJ, volunteers from the first promotion of European Civic Service and young volunteers from the Denkmit network (DenkFabrik).
Clément Beaune, Secretary of State for European Affairs, will be taking part in the video, as will François Villeroy de Galhau and Sylvie Goulard, Governor and Deputy Governor of the Banque de France.
